1. Who we are
Gravity & Vector Academy ("we", "us") provides live online GCSE science lessons and revision resources. Contact: hello@gravityandvector.co.uk.
2. Who can buy
Memberships must be bought by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over, on behalf of the student. The parent or guardian is our customer and is responsible for payments.
3. What's included
- Six live online lessons a week (Physics, Chemistry and Biology), starting the week of 2 November 2026.
- Lessons run through half-terms and Easter. There are no live lessons during Christmas week.
- Recordings of lessons, practice tests, mocks, revision tools and the countdown planner, as described on our website.
We may occasionally need to reschedule a lesson (for example, because of illness). If this happens we'll tell you as early as we can and provide a replacement lesson or recording.
4. Prices and payment
- Monthly membership: £47 a month, charged on the day you join and then on the same date each month, until you cancel. Your founding price stays the same for as long as your membership stays active.
- Exam Pass: £297, paid once. It covers membership until the end of the summer 2027 GCSE science exams. It is personal to one student and can't be transferred.
- Payments are taken securely by Stripe. They appear on your bank statement as GRAVITY VECTOR.
5. Cancelling the monthly membership
You can cancel any time by emailing hello@gravityandvector.co.uk. Cancelling stops all future payments. You keep access until the end of the month you've already paid for. We don't give refunds for part-months, except as set out in section 6.
6. Your 14-day cancellation right
Under UK consumer law, you can cancel within 14 days of buying. When you pay, you ask us to start providing the service straight away, within those 14 days. If you then cancel within the 14 days, we'll refund what you paid minus a fair amount for the lessons and resources already provided up to the day you tell us. We'll make any refund within 14 days of you telling us, to the card you paid with.
After the 14 days, monthly payments already taken aren't refunded (see section 5), and the Exam Pass is not refundable.
7. If something goes wrong
If we fail to provide what we promised, please tell us first at hello@gravityandvector.co.uk and we'll put it right. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer. If we have to stop running the membership before the end of a period you've paid for, we'll refund the unused part.
8. Behaviour and safety in lessons
- Students must be respectful to the teacher and other students. Cameras are optional.
- Lessons may be recorded for members to rewatch. Student cameras and names are not shown in shared recordings.
- Lesson links and recordings are for the member's household only and must not be shared.
- We may remove a student from a lesson, or end a membership, for serious or repeated misbehaviour or for sharing access. If we end a membership for this reason, we'll refund any unused part of an Exam Pass on a pro rata basis.
9. Results
We teach to help students improve, but exam results depend on many things, including the student's own work. We can't guarantee any particular grade.
10. Your data
We use the parent's contact details to run the membership and, only if you agreed, to send marketing. See our privacy policy.
11. Changes and law
We may update these terms. If a change affects you, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
